FAQs

Where should I put the well?

Anywhere it will be convenient to service: near electrical power and far away from septic and other contaminant sources. We will have someone come out to inspect the area with you to determine the best placement.

Is there a guarantee that we will find water when a well is drilled?

No.  We cannot guarantee that we will hit water when a well is drilled.

How long does it take to drill a well?

On average, a well can be drilled in 1-3 days depending on the conditions of the ground, the weather, and water depth.

How much water is needed?

A good house well should produce at least 5-10 gallons per minute.  If you are planning to irrigate your lawn, have a swimming pool, or other heavy use on top of daily functions, you may need more.

How much will it cost?

We charge by the foot drilled.  Also, casing needs to be added from the top down to consolidated rock, usually between 20 and 100 feet. This is also charged by the foot.

Can you tell me how deep my well will need to be?

No. We may be able to give you an idea how deep wells in the surrounding areas are.
